So, we should all know by now that Disney owns most of Fox, this includes Fox rights to Marvel characters like the X-Men. With those iconic characters like Wolverine, Storm, Jean Grey, Cyclops, and Beast among others back with Marvel we can start to wonder what Marvel Studios will do now that they have access to the characters. Obviously, a X-Men movie reboot would be on most people’s minds moving out of Fox’s run of the franchise, but Marvel Studios isn’t looking to reboot the X-Men just yet, in fact we probably won’t see any X-Men characters for a few years since the dust hasn’t settled yet after Dark Phoenix. According to Marvel Studio president Kevin Feige, unofficial announced projects from the studio could take up the next five years of release dates. This may or may not include Marvel Studios TV shows on Disney Plus. Speaking of Disney Plus, there is a lot of opportunity here. A Star Wars show, and live action Marvel shows are in development for the st...

Before Marvel Studios was widely popular in the movie business and taking over theaters, Fox Studios was. They did their own Marvel movies with the X-Men characters. The franchise was already popular back in the early 2000’s when the first live action X-Men film hit theaters. The first three X-Men films were popular but the 3rd film The Last Stand was criticized when they attempted to tell their version of the “Phoenix Saga”. X3 The Last Stand was a passable X-Men movie, but it failed at its attempt to tell the Dark Phoenix story, a story that is very popular in the Marvel Comic Universe, some considering that its better than the Infinity Saga. Dark Pheonix isn’t a half bad film, it did have some great moments. However one of the obvious reasons Dark Phoenix missed its mark is because its release date was pushed back twice. Originally it was supposed to be released in November of 2018, then it was pushed back to February of 2019, then finally it was given a release date of June 7 th ...

MIB International is a continuation of the Men in Black film franchise that follows top secret agents that protect the earth from intergalactic threats. Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson play Agent H, and Agent M. Agent H (Hemsworth) a more seasoned Agent, gets partnered up with Agent M (Thompson) the newbie after she spends 20 years confirming that the MIB exists. A super powerful weapon that could destroy an entire star system ends up in the wrong hands and causes major problems for the new duo. Storyline The whole plot of the film is similar to the first MIB film, there is a wanted device or item that can destroy the world or cause a war. The MIB have to stop whatever threat is out to use it. The writing was not very good, making the entire film predictable. Acting Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, Liam Neeson and Emma Thompson all put on amazing performances, bringing life to the otherwise dry action comedy. If the writing was better and more creative the film could ...
Dark Phoenix | Review (Is not as bad as they say)

Dark Phoenix “a X-Men film” was an attempt to do right by the very popular Marvel Comics story “The Phoenix Saga”. After the “Last Stand” didn’t live up to fans expectations. Dark Phoenix is a film that follows Jean Grey (Sophie Turner) who becomes super powerful thanks to a cosmic force that enhances her telepathic mutant abilities. Jean finds out that Charles Xavier (James MacAvoy) lied to her about her parents and she becomes more and more consumed by the rage and pain from herself and those around her. While a race of aliens known as the D’Bari who traked the power source to earth and are now seeking her out to kill her and destroy the power within her. Storyline Although the story fits more with the comic book version it seems that the writers still struggled with fully capturing the scope of the Phoenix Saga. To be completely honest, the Phoenix saga could have been a 3-movie trilogy if it was done right. However, we just didn’t get the full scale of the epic story t...
