Obamas negotiate Netflix series


Former president Barack Obama are in advanced negotiations to produce Netflix series of high profile shows. Netflix has over 118 million subscribers and Barack plans to use that platform to reach his audience.

The Obamas plan to create stories that inspire people and they always believed in the power of storytelling.

It was mentioned that Barack does not plan to create content that will respond directly to current President Trump. However Netflix will give the Obamas an unfiltered method of communication with the public similar to his audience he already reaches via social media.

Apple and Amazon have both expressed interest in talking with Mr. Obama about content deals.

This deal between the Obamas and Netflix could be a modern twist on an approach that former politicians have attempted in the past.

How The “Black Panther” Soundtrack Came To Be Completely Produced byKendrick Lamar

Black Panther took home a Grammy last night. The Kendrick Lamar- produced album inspired by the hit Marvel movie “Black Panther” was a big hit last year over the airways and on streaming services around the time the movie hit theaters. It added to the hype of the film but Kendrick was only supposed to do one song. According to the Hollywood Reporter , the score composer Ludwig Göransson and his team traveled to the International Library of African Music in South Africa. There they worked with over 500 instruments that according to Göransson “Don’t really exist anymore” Only one song on the album scored a Grammy that was “Kings Dead” by Jay Rock, Future, and James Black.
