Its The End of An Era, Marvel Netflix Shows Canceled

News came out just yesterday that both “Jessica Jones” and ‘The Punisher” will be canceled on Netflix.

Jessica Jones season 3 is still scheduled to be released this summer as a Netflix original. This will be the last Marvel TV show to debut on the streaming service.

Since Disney has acquired Fox as well as Fox’s stake in the streaming service Hulu, they have already started working on several new shows to premier on the streaming service.

Currently the only show by Marvel Television on Hulu is “The Runnaways”. Vice President in charge of Hulu originals says that he would like to revive the dusted Netflix shows when time is right.

Because of contracts and such, the actors and actresses who portrayed the iconic Marvel characters in their own shows will have to wait at least 2 years before they could star in their shows if another network like Hulu picks them up or the characters would be recasted and that wouldn’t be good at all.

We could possibly see, Mike Colter, Krysten Ritter, Charlie Cox, Finn Jones, and Jon Bernthal reprise their roles at some point in the future so don’t count them out just yet.
