Second Aladdin Trailer Is Here With A First Look At Will Smith’s “Genie”

During the 2019 Grammy Awards a new 1-minute trailer for Disney’s live-action, Aladdin dropped. It gave us a first look at “Genie” played by Will Smith.

Will Smith has big shoes to fill simply because Robin William voiced the 90’s cartoon movie version of “Genie” and although this is a live action version many people are unsure if Will will be able to maintain the essence of who Genie was in the original movie.

Genie shared a few lines in the short tv spot toward the end. You can view the trailer here.

How The “Black Panther” Soundtrack Came To Be Completely Produced byKendrick Lamar

Black Panther took home a Grammy last night. The Kendrick Lamar- produced album inspired by the hit Marvel movie “Black Panther” was a big hit last year over the airways and on streaming services around the time the movie hit theaters. It added to the hype of the film but Kendrick was only supposed to do one song. According to the Hollywood Reporter , the score composer Ludwig Göransson and his team traveled to the International Library of African Music in South Africa. There they worked with over 500 instruments that according to Göransson “Don’t really exist anymore” Only one song on the album scored a Grammy that was “Kings Dead” by Jay Rock, Future, and James Black.
