Who Is The Bee In Fox’s The Masked Singer?

Well, you should be, the Masked singer is a popular top secret singing celebrity game show where masked celebrities face off against each other. With each performance, the host, panelists, audience, viewers and even the other contestants are left guessing who the singer is behind the mask. The singers may attempt to throw off the crowd, but keen observers might pick up on tiny clues buried throughout the show. Each week, a singer is eliminated — and then reveals his or her true identity.

Some of the celebrities are, not professional singers and some (based on clues and hints) have been singing professionally since the ’70s.

We’re here now to focus on one particular contestant that I have been watching closely.

Dust off your clue books because we’re about to discuss “The Bee”.

The “Bee” has given us several clues over her time on the show to help us determine who she is.

Here’s what we know so far

• She has been singing for many years, she’s a legend.
• She’s clearly a professional “seasoned” singer
• She loves to bake.
• She has won 10 Grammys
• She is close friends with Tina Turner

One of the clues “baking” made people go right to Patty LaBelle but the masked performers have given clues to deliberately throw off the host, panelists, audience, and viewers.

Also these singers especially the ones with the most recognizable voices have to work very hard to not give themselves away by singing like themselves.

The only clue that we got this week that lead us to believe that Chaka Khan is wearing the Bee costume was the 10 Grammy’s. Chaka Khan is the only performer considered to be the “Bee” to have won 10 Grammys. Gladys Knight only took home 7 Grammys in her solo career, however, if you add her 3 Grammy wins with the Pips she would technically have 10.

While everyone is listening to the voice to help them “ID” the performer, most of the dead-give-always are in the “clues” videos.

LaToya Jackson gave away her birth year in her final episode this week when she disguised it as a price for a “Legal” consultation “per minute” phone call of ($19.56.) which is the year she was born.

With all these clues, we could be completely wrong about this and Gladys Knight.
