Robert Downey Jr Returning to MCU, Iron Heart In Development

Robert Downey Jr may be returning to the MCU!

Robert has been advocating to bring Iron Heart to the MCU for a while now.

The MCU actor known for his role as Tony Stark aka Iron Man has been apart of the MCU for 11 years. If you don’t know by now or if you haven’t seen Avengers Endgame then (Spoiler Alert)

Tony Stark dies in battle in the film ending the Iron Man character.

However it seems that Iron Man may return to the MCU but not in the way you may think.

Riri Williams, (Iron Heart) was created by Brian Michael Bendis, Mike Deodato, and Eve Wing in 2015. She made her first appearance in Invincible Iron Man vol 2 #7.

In the comics Riri is a 15 year old engineering student who lives with her mother and aunt after her father dies. She attends the Massachusetts Institute of Technology on scholarship.

Riri designs a suit similar to Iron Man using material stolen from campus. When Tony Stark hears of Riri’s accomplishments goes to meet her. Tony then decides to endorse her decision to become a super-heroine and Riri officially becomes Iron Heart.

The comic series received a lot of back lash for not having an accurate portrayal of a typical black female teenager and the lack of a black female writer for the character.

Iron Heart can also be found on the Marvel Rising animated series on the Disney Channel and Youtube currently.

Iron Heart will be a live action Disney Plus series, although it has not been officially announced it seems that it will be added to the slate of shows in development for the Marvel content of the streaming service.

The series will feature Tony Stark as an A.I. Coaching and advising Riri , similar to how J.A.R.V.I.S and F.R.I.D.A.Y coached and advised Tony.

How The “Black Panther” Soundtrack Came To Be Completely Produced byKendrick Lamar

Black Panther took home a Grammy last night. The Kendrick Lamar- produced album inspired by the hit Marvel movie “Black Panther” was a big hit last year over the airways and on streaming services around the time the movie hit theaters. It added to the hype of the film but Kendrick was only supposed to do one song. According to the Hollywood Reporter , the score composer Ludwig Göransson and his team traveled to the International Library of African Music in South Africa.
